The 80GB PlayStation 3, Announced

Sony said that the 80 GB Playstation3 will reach the market in September and will cost 399 U.S. dollars, like the 40GB version.

Sony reduced the price of the Playstation3 after the confirmation, last Sunday, that Microsoft cut down to $300 the Xbox 360 price.

In addition, Sony reported that will start next Wednesday a video rental and sale service through the Playstation3, similar to the agreement between Microsoft and Netflix announced on Monday.

This agreement will allow the Xbox 360 owners and Netflix users access to thousands of films of this company.
