The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. The Association is calling on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer’s -the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S.- There are walks in more than 600 communities across the nation. Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is a 2-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning in the fall.
The Alzheimer’s Associaton Memory Walk® needs team captains. As team captain, your job will be rallying walkers and motivating them to raise funds and awareness for this laudable cause. Starting a team is easy. Recruit three people -family or friends-, and they’ll invite three people and you’ll have a team. Your can download the team captain guide from the Alzheimer’s Associaton website for more information.
Team up with the Alzheimer’s Association to join the fight for a world without Alzheimer’s.
