Google has announced the launching of its own web browser: Google Chrome is a open source web browser that is streamlined and simple. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and ultra-fast. The newborn browser is able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites.
Google Chrome uses components from Apple's WebKit and Mozilla's Firefox, among others. Also includes Google Gears built-in and its own JavaScript engine.
Privacy and security are strong points of Chrome, Similar to IE 8, Chrome has a private mode to erase browser history when the browser is closedChrome for Windows is available for download. Linux and Mac Versions of Google Chrome will be available soon.
